While covering a two-day wedding at the Gran Palladium Riviera Maya, I met Regina y Laureano, special guests of the bride and groom. Despite not being the stars of the event, they were part of one of the most memorable moments of the weekend.

The second day dawned cloudy with intermittent rain, which created a certain amount of tension. Laureano, a little nervous about the weather, confessed his intention to me: he was going to propose to Regina that very day.

We took advantage of a free moment during the day to do an outdoor photo shoot. With the sea in the background and a dramatic gray sky, Laureano popped the big question. Despite the rain and nerves, everything went perfectly: she accepted with a smile, and the moment was captured in a series of spontaneous and candid images.
